Data privacy policy

General data privacy policy

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. It is therefore a matter of course for us that we treat your personal data responsibly, following all the stipulations of European data privacy law.
We will never offer or sell your data to third parties. We do, however, need to point out that the transmission of data via the Internet (e.g. e-mail) can involve security vulnerabilities. There can therefore be no guarantee for complete protection against third parties accessing data.
With the use of our website, you agree to the collection, processing, and use of the data in accordance with the following description.
Data transmission/Data logging
Our website can be visited without registration. The web server automatically creates log files that cannot be linked to any particular person. This data includes e.g. the browser and browser version, operating system used, referring URL (the previously visited site), IP address of the visiting computer, access date and time of the server request, and the data request of the client (data name and URL). Data connected to a person, including the name, address, or e-mail address can therefore only be acquired on a voluntary basis. The data is used only for the purpose of statistical analysis. This data is not passed on to third parties without your consent.
Officer with responsibility for the website
The person responsible for the collection, processing, and use of your personal data in accordance with the GDPR is Martina Wasserloos-Strunk, President.
If you would like to contest our collection, processing, and use of your data, in general or in connection with particular instances, please submit your objections to the person listed above. You can always save and print out this data privacy policy.
Contestation, changes, corrections, and updates
Users have the right to receive information free of charge upon request concerning their personal data that has been collected. Users also have the right to correct data that is errant and to block and delete personal data inasmuch as no legal collection requirement is in effect.

SSL encryption

For reasons of security and to protect confidential content such as inquiries you send to us, this page uses SSL encryption. You can recognize that a connection is encrypted in that the address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and that a lock symbol appears in your browser line.
When SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

IP-anonymization

This page abbreviates your IP address from Google within the member states of the European Union and in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before sending it to the United States in order to anonymize it. Only in exceptions to this rule is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the United States and abbreviated there. Google will use this information, at the behest of the operator of this website, to compile reports of website activity and to provide the website operator with further services connected to internet use. The IP address retrieved from your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be connected to other data from Google.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. They are small text files that make it possible to store specific information related to users on their own devices as they use the website. Cookies make it possible, in particular, to ascertain the frequency of use and number of users on the pages, to analyze the ways the pages are used, as well as how to make our presence more user-friendly. Cookies are stored until the end of a browser session and can be called up again upon another visit to the site. If you do not wish for this to happen, you should use your internet browser settings to refuse to accept cookies.
You can prevent cookies from being stored using the appropriate settings of your browser software. We would like to point out that you would, in such a case, possibly not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can, furthermore, prevent the collection of data connected to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) compiled by the cookie and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin found via this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

YouTube

Our website uses plug-ins from the YouTube site, operated by Google. The operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is established to the YouTube servers, informing the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to connect your internet behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
